Hard drive recovery with Unstoppable Copier
Though not often (thankfully), there are times when you may encounter errors reading your hard drive due to physical damage like bad sectors. Is it possible to recover the file that you are having problem reading? There is a free tool called Unstoppable Copier which attempts to recover every readable piece of that file and put the pieces together. It does this by ignoring all the error messages that one would have otherwise encountered while using standard ways and tools to retrieve data from damaged disks. Using this method most types of files can be made useable even if some parts were not recoverable in the end.
The Unstoppable Copier has a number of rather unique features which may prove to be quite useful:- The level of data recovery can be changed to enable very intense data recovery through to skipping damaged files completely.
- The data recovery process can be paused and resumed mid file.
- Logging can be enabled to record details on transfered files, their integrity and offsets of any errors.
- Multiple directories structures or single files can be dragged and dropped onto unstoppable copier for transfer.
- It support numerous languages, namely English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Russian, Turkish, Hungarian, Polish. The Linux version only support four languages at the time of this writing, English, German, Italian and French

The Unstoppable Copier is available for both Windows and Linux. You can download this free tool at their website.
